MSB Lab is pleased to share that Prof. Mirza S. Baig recently visited his former institute, the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), for an invited lecture.
Returning to an institution where he spent formative years of his academic journey was a meaningful experience. During the lecture, Prof. Baig shared insights into novel inflammatory regulatory mechanisms and potential therapeutic approaches, followed by engaging discussions with faculty and students.
MSB Lab extends sincere thanks to Dr. Nadim Mahmud, Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology, College of Medicine, for hosting the visit. Prof. Baig's time working with him at UIC was a highly enriching and formative experience.
Reconnecting with the academic environment at UIC brought back many valuable memories. MSB Lab looks forward to continued collaborations and academic exchanges in the future.

MSB Lab is pleased to share that Prof. Mirza S. Baig recently visited Indiana University Indianapolis as part of the American Heart Association (AHA) Visiting Professorship.
This visit builds on a strong and ongoing collaboration with Professor Alexander Obukhov and his team. Together, they are developing novel therapeutic peptides targeting atherosclerosis, with the goal of advancing innovative strategies for cardiovascular disease treatment.
