Fruitful collaborative research visit to Tohoku University

Prof. Mirza S. Baig and his research team have been invited to Tohoku University, Japan under the Sakura Invitational Program 2023. The team visited the Biomedical Engineering Cancer Research Center at Tohoku University to share their research with eminent scientists. The visit was hosted by the world-renowned scientist Prof. Tetsuya Kodama. The visit resulted in a fruitful outcome in terms of the possibility of future collaboration and joint research projects in the area of cancer immunotherapy.

Prof. (Dr.) Mirza S. Baig has been invited to speak on the topic of chronic inflammatory diseases and cancer at Sapienza University Rome.  The talk delved into unraveling the intricate role of MyD88-adapter-like (MAL) in chronic inflammation and cancer. The lecture also included an interactive session with the faculty and students.
